Accommodation Support Services
We can assist your NDIS participant in finding suitable housing. From identifying appropriately equipped apartments to supporting the application process, we will work alongside you every step of the way. Additionally, we will facilitate communication between the participant and their landlord to ensure the tenancy agreement is met.
Support is available to guide, prompt, or carry out activities to help the participant secure and/or maintain suitable accommodation. This may include assisting with rental applications or fulfilling tenancy responsibilities.
Assisted Independent Living
In your NDIS plan, Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life covers Supported Independent Living. However, the NDIS does not cover expenses such as rent, board, transportation, or other daily costs like activities and food.
Specialised Disability Housing
This funding is designed for individuals with very high needs who require specialised housing. Capital Supports – Specialist Disability Accommodation (Capital Supports – SDA) evaluates and funds SDA separately from SIL.

Whether the NDIS participant needs help finding a new home or is facing challenges with their current rental, we are here to support them. We provide a range of housing options, allowing them to choose the best fit for their needs. In addition to housing and tenancy services, we offer internal support to assist with daily tasks.
As part of our service, we help participants communicate with service providers and guide them through the entire process, ensuring they can independently navigate the steps when searching for new housing in the future. This approach enables participants to explore more housing options and build their capacity.

Depending on each participant circumstances and goals, our service can include:
- Helping participants redefine or establish their housing goals.
- Providing support with budgeting
- Exploring other housing alternatives
- Developing and implementing strategies to sustain current tenancies
- Communicating with DHHS, real estate agents, or landlords to identify and address barriers to maintaining at-risk tenancies

We recognize and deeply value the crucial role that families and friends play in supporting individuals with special needs. The purpose of our respite care is to give caregivers and families the much-needed breaks to continue offering their vital support.
